The Tahoe Resource Conservation District's 2024 Annual Report highlights accomplishments by the Tahoe RCD and our partners. Tahoe RCD's mission is to promote the conservation, stewardship and knowledge of the Lake Tahoe Region’s natural resources by providing leadership and innovative environmental services to all stakeholders. 

Tahoe RCD is one of nearly 3000 Conservation Districts across the country helping people to protect land, water, forests, wildlife, and related natural resources.

Important Update:

Invasive New Zealand mudsnails were discovered in Lake Tahoe in September, 2023. An incident team from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and Tahoe Resource Conservation District are responding to this new threat to the Tahoe Region and coordinating with other agencies.
